cosmic inadequacy

hello everyone

i'm in my hall right now and it's preeetty daaaamn warm but i live for warmth, so, okay. university is officially starting tomorrow (because i didn't have any classes today) and i'm not thaaat worried about settling in, though i do have great expectations for myself.

it's The Drums kinda evening and i'm heading out in about thirty for "block dinner". i can already predict what's going to happen and even though i want to retreat into my shell immediately after, i probably can't/wouldn't/shouldn't. in other news, i received two brownies hanging on my handle upon arrival this morning (thanks Eunice!). it may be a bittersweet 4 months, but i'm going to make the best out of it.

thanks everyone for helping me with moving– that includes ash, sera and sasha!!! i'm at this stage of life where i feel that social obligations are.. well, obligations. preferentially, i'd just wanna stick with a bunch of friends that have got my back that make a million others who would say hi because they remember your face.
