c's out of the office today so i'm pretty much (almost) handling registrations by myself. it's so crazy!!!! i'm drowning in an ocean of paperwork and emails..... though, there's definitely something satisfying/calming about it all.
i recall wanting to blog about a particular something about an hour ago , but i can't put prints on it right now so i'll just type as i go along. looking at my calendar, it's 2 more days to 2 more months on this island. i'm counting down to the days where i can lie on my own bed and cuddle with heaps of pillows.
i'm definitely going to make a to-do list, Singapore edition. that includes more frequent grocery runs, hitting the gym more often (hopefully), and meeting up with friends! oh boy, now i really wish i was back home for Zouk Out.
nonetheless, i've learnt quite a bit in a moral/social setting– how to be an adult and what not.. i guess i'm forced to be one. can you imagine? when you get sick and there's literally no one that can help you but yourself. you have to tell yourself to rest, you have to tell yourself to drink water, and you have to tell yourself to stay away from things that are harmful. no one's going to do shit for you, let alone help you clean the shit off your ass!!

what i've been up to besides working includes s h o p p i n g, (guided) meditations, self-empowerment practices, morning runs (and then stuffing my face with american food oh cheesus), afternoon lazing, evening highs, night mind-wandering, meal planning, beach tanning, movies in bed bla bla bla a whole lot of i have so much time what should i do, actually.
was googling and i might volunteer at an animal shelter if i am able to. shall check it out when i've got time (which is always) + i'm not lazy (which is hard to come by these days– i swear i had more enthusiasm and energy in the first two months).
someone introduced me to Nick Mulvey a couple of days ago and he's pretty good. really enjoyed listening to his album and it's been my lullaby for the past nights so give it a go. speaking of music, Young the Giant is touring and they're playing here next weekend! i might go if i'm feeling it up.. we'll see.
ok. i guess that's a pretty long update on random things that are happening. in case people miss me but don't bother talking to find up what's up. see ya.
